I am a semi-retired, politically independent lawyer in Knoxville, Tennessee, with forty years of practice in civil lawsuits. I have a law degree from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism from the University of Kentucky. Between schools, I worked for two years as a full-time newspaper reporter for the Middlesboro, Ky. Daily News. After law school, I worked for two years as a full time law clerk for a federal trial judge, Robert L. Taylor in Knoxville.
